Teenage Agnst....

As Kurt Cobain said - 'Teenage Angst is here to stay', our eldest son is just 15, he's going through what every teenager goes through, he's a really (really nice & easy going) nice chap, doing well at school, he's a good looking kid too, and popular, yet he's going through that phase of being unhappy with himself, he says he's not confident, we're trying to bring him round to reality, but it's quite heart breaking - no parent, surely wants to their own kids to experience the 'negatives' they themselves experienced.... Teenage Angst maybe here to stay, but from our own experiences with our kids, and the kids we see everyday in the shop - the World is in safe hands for the future, so take the media reports of social breakdown with a pinch of salt - Today's kids maybe more aware, but on the whole they're a great legacy, respectful, and polite (we think some of the 'older' generation could learn a lot from them)....
