Moving......

We're moving!! (shop that is), not far (in same complex)... Over the next couple of weeks (yes we're mad at this time of year, it's busy in Scarborough)... We'll be organising, packing and opening and dealing with orders and customers (might be slight delay for some online orders - some might not go same day, but they will be shipped next day).....

Just one word......

We've just one word, regarding tomorrow's delivery - Breathless .....!

Yu-Gi-Oh! turns back time....

More new arrivals this week, and more restocking. New items include ToyFare exclusive Buffy Vampire Willow figures, Hello Kitty inflatables, and Yu-gi-oh! Retro Pack 2's, with the last Duelist Yugi packs proving very popular, we're pretty sure the new Retro packs will be just as big a hit. Should have some more 'Spellcasters Command Structure Decks' too..... And hopefully more Sylvanian Families :).... Have a great Week.

Halo, Bart, Anime.....

Quick post, due in tomorrow (Friday) some Halo 3 Collectable Vehicles by McFarlane, and some Simpson 'Double Dare' motorized figure sets..... Anime figures due in the next couple of weeks.... Have a great weekend :)......

The Week that Was...

Due in Tomorrow, as well as more YuGiOh!, Pokemon, Club Penguin, Crazy Bones Explorer, and Bakugan - new items include the new Gormiti Series 3 Atomic (in 4 figure packs to start with) and some Team Rocket Ultra Pro Pokemon Deck Boxes....Loads of goodies coming out in the next couple of months, and one thing surely to give Piggy Banks around the country a cold sweat is the release of the next installment of Crazy Bones - Series 4 (Power Crazy Bones) sometime in September!!!.....

New arrivals have....Arrived! :)...Unfortunately no Hello Kitty Tattoos/Stickers, but plenty of other goodies, including the cool retro Tomy 'Sumo Smash' and 'Bumble Boxing', and Top Cards Monopoly.... (ohh, and the nice couple from Skipton - Your TY beanies are in too :D )... Raining in Biblical proportions this morning!! (ahhh, the kids break up today for Summer)... Have a great Weekend...

In this Week.....

Due in this week (maybe beginning of next), items include new Pokemon Platinum Poster Packs & Platinum Players Guides. Hello Kitty fans shouldn't be disappointed either (Sticker & Tattoo packs), with new gadgets, and some old YuGiOh! favourites restocked, together with a few more TY beanies for the shop....Kids break up Friday!! (well, the English ones, Scotland's already enjoying the Summer).... Next week we'll also be starting off another Anime order from the Land of the Rising Sun - Final Fantasy Wallscrolls all out, and not many Bleach figures left either....!! Have a great week :)...

Teenage Agnst....

As Kurt Cobain said - 'Teenage Angst is here to stay', our eldest son is just 15, he's going through what every teenager goes through, he's a really (really nice & easy going) nice chap, doing well at school, he's a good looking kid too, and popular, yet he's going through that phase of being unhappy with himself, he says he's not confident, we're trying to bring him round to reality, but it's quite heart breaking - no parent, surely wants to their own kids to experience the 'negatives' they themselves experienced.... Teenage Angst maybe here to stay, but from our own experiences with our kids, and the kids we see everyday in the shop - the World is in safe hands for the future, so take the media reports of social breakdown with a pinch of salt - Today's kids maybe more aware, but on the whole they're a great legacy, respectful, and polite (we think some of the 'older' generation could learn a lot from them)....

Don't lose your Marbles this August....

It's a bit of a cliche, that the old games are the best games, but it does seem they are constantly being tweaked and relaunched to new audiences much to the delight of both kids and their parents. Coming this August, Corinthian (yes, the Micro figure specialists), are launching Ben 10 Marbz (Marbles!), they look pretty cool, 99p a packet (each containing 1 large Marble, 4 Smaller Marbles, and Game Card), and everybody loves marbles, right? Maybe this could be one pocket money collectable that gives those Crazy Bones a run for it's money? Time will tell.....

Tag'Em Friday....

Due in tomorrow (Friday 10th), as well as restocking 'Mario Touch Pen Gacha', and 'Yu-Gi-Oh Raging Battle', some new goodies, which include - 'YuGiOh Duelist Yugi Boosters', 'Hello Kitty Zoo Costume Swing Charms', and some 'Tag'ems' - These look pretty cool, allowing kids to customise their trainers with different charms, for both Girls and Boys, maybe the kids will look after their footwear if its 'Tagged'?, Maybe, Maybe Not!!! Konami Breaks into a sweat!!

After what seemed an eternity waiting for the new Yu-Gi-Oh releases while Konami and Upperdeck sorted out their arguments, it seems Konami is now breaking into a sweat with new releases! Following on from the Raging Battle Boosters and Special Editions, and Gold Series 2, next week sees the release of the new Duelist Yugi Booster packs - 'Konami Digital Entertainment is set to bring Duelists around the world a blast from the past with Duelist Pack Yugi! This set includes 30 of the most classic cards in Yugioh history including alternate artwork for all-time favorites like Dark Magician Girl, Dark Paladin and Summoned Skull! Maybe the most exciting news so far is that this set is seeing a reprint of Mirror Force as an Ultra Rare card.' - And without holding their breath, the new Retro Pack 2's will be arriving towards the end of July, and the new set 'Ancient Prophecy' in August....Happy Duelling :).....

And Finally before we depart today, a little sneak preview of three new items which will be arriving soon at ToyToyjac, some great fun little 'Gadgets' to give those Racing Nuns a 'run' for their money :)...........

Micro Madness.....

Coming next week, (apart from more Tech Decks & Pokemon that is!) will be some of the new Micro Figures from Corinthian. These little collectables are hugely popular, with Ben 10 & the Puppy / Pony in my Pocket sets a favourite with all ages. The new for 2009 Disney / Pixar micros are sure to be a big hit, featuring favourite characters from the Disney Classic and Pixar Studios....
