Happy Holiday Weekend :)

Just in time for the holiday weekend (mixed forecast for the East Coast!!) we've received a few new goodies. A few more Uglydolls, including 7" Big Toe (Secret Mission) - He's always been one our favourites, and looks very smart in Black! Other arrivals include; Pokemon Play Balls, Ben 10 Action Figure Gacha, Dinofroz twin packs (These look cool - one well known London Toy Shop is currently selling these for £7.00 a pack, ouch!!!!), and a restock of some YuGiOh / Slyvanians. Out of this World.....

Coming soon to ToyToyjac - One our favourite 'brands', Star Wars miniature gaming, with the other miniatures (Warcraft, Halo, Horror & Axis) selling well we think these will be a hit on the shelves. Other items arriving with them include more Aqua Beads / more Horrorclix / Crap Trumps (these look really good too) / a few more board games and maybe one or two surprises :)........ We're now going to dust off our lightsabers and practise our deep breathing!!

Art imitates Life....Toys imitate Art...

When we opened our shop we bought a picture that took our eye called 'Screaming Dark', it was just something we liked, to put on the wall to emphasise that although we're primarily a 'Toy Shop' we want to create something a bit different (and we had / have no intention of selling it!), well the customers love it (if we had a pound for everyone who asked 'how much is it?' expressing absolute joy and wonder in it we'd be able to buy all of DeadGirls paintings and more!!). We love our 'Screaming Dark', we were careful to choose a picture which didn't cause any distress (we get quite a few little ones in!), but we love all of DeadGirls work, she is amazingly talented, her life through her paintings is our life (and by customers comments, theirs too), and her Art is what we strive ToyToyjac to be (Honest, Simple, Different, Emotional).....Head Over to http://www.deadgirl.me.uk/html/index.php to check it out, but please don't buy all of them, we're planning on a couple more this year!!! :).....

Rising Sun.......Final Fantasies

With the Anime goodies flying out (literally!), we've started to put together another order from our friends in the East :).....Together with restocking the items which we're running low on (yes - more Mario!), we'll be introducing some new lines, including; D.Gray-man, Vampire Knight, Zelda, and this little chap :)........Early days yet, but should in be around end of May.

Go Go Mario Karting.....

A few more boxes of Mario Kart Gacha in today, and remember order more than one and we'll make sure you receive different ones :)......The 5" mario figures are very low in stock though, and we're not planning restocking until May, the Anime plushies received the other week are also at critical levels!!! Other new items in today include 'Juggling Ball' packs, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist 2009 Tins, and restocks of Ben 10 Micros and Tech Decks..... It's been chaotic the past week with the kids being off, long may it continue :)..........

We're through the Easter Egg Hunt intact!!! Let me fill you in, we've had an Easter Egg Hunt here today in the Market Hall and Market Vault Shops (where we are), at first it sounded like a good idea, but as it approached we were filled with a sinking feeling (did we really want hordes of kids coming into the shop pulling everything apart looking for Eggs?!!). But it went really well, there was a real buzz around the place, and although we haven't taken much more than we would have normally, it was good to see to see all the families enjoying themselves and checking us out :).........Pat on the back to the organisers (you know who you are!)....... On another note, next week (hopefully) we'll have fresh supplies of the Mario Kart Gacha, and also Yu-Gi-Oh 2009 Duelist Tins, Gormiti Magic Eggs, Tech Deck Sk8 Parks, Juggling Balls, and Ben 10 Micros. The new Anime plushies are going that well (we're pretty low now!!), we'll be putting together another order for May (but a big one!).... Happy Easter :).............

TOUCHDOWN :)..............

We've got the new Uglies :)... (well some of them, others are been released later in the year)...... The Action Figures look Fab (but we've only managed to get hold of one case so we'll have to ship them 'blind'), if we manage to get a decent supply we'll crack them open and sell them by 'character'. As we were unpacking the case, we sold one Uglyverse Ox, a Fea Bea, and a Fea Bea Clip on!!! Our online shop is still down as of now (hopefully back on soon!!!) so we can't update online, but we will asap.....The Gelli Play looks cool too.....Have a fab Easter (go easy on the chocolate :P), and if you find your self on the East Coast this weekend come and say Hi!!!

Ugly Easter....

They're on their way!! Well some of them, the new Uglydolls will hit the shelves on Thursday 9th (we'll have to update the website as and when we get chance after it goes back online). With Fea Bea (blue), new Icebat (Black) Key Chain, Uglydoll Action Figures, and limited edition Uglyverse Ox 2009 among others - we can't wait to get our hands on them!!

Systems Down!!!

Ok, tomorrow (Thursday 9th April) the online shop will be offline for most of the day while our hosts move the shop to a dedicated server, should be back on around teatime - Super Charged!!!

UK Postage capped!!!

We have simplified our postage rates for UK customers, the maximum rate is now £3.95, with 2 further levels of; £1.95 for orders up to £4.99 (we have to take into account processing charges!), and £2.95 for orders up to £24.99, with a maximum charge of £3.95 for orders over £25.00. Although we constantly monitor our shipping charges, and have thought about including shipping in the price of the goods, we feel this a fairer method to those customers who buy more than one item - some shops include postage into their prices, but buy a few items and they can turn out expensive. We continue to monitor prices for Europe, and we will change these as and when it becomes prudent to do so. Rates to USA, Canada, and other parts of the World are still done on an individual basis - we will continue to charge what the actual order costs us.

Easter Eggs - No Chocolate!!!

Don't us wrong we love Chocolate, in fact we like it so much we're going to say it again - 'WE LOVE CHOCOLATE'....Sorry :).......... Just in with todays delivery are two new Gashapon 'Flavours' - Spongebob Squarepants Summer Sports Figures & Hannah Montana Mini Notebooks (Gonna be huge this summer, the new movie is coming out).... Anyway just to remind you, if you order more than one Gacha - We check inside to make sure you don't get any duplicates, in fact we can't keep up with demand for Mario Kart sets (we can currently only supply 4 different Characters for the Mario Karts, and we've more 'Peaches' than we care to count!!), but it makes sense, whether there's 5 or 7 figures etc to collect - should you really have to buy 10,12,15+!!!! to get the full set?
