One game which will literally 'drive you round the bend!'

We love items which you don't necessarily find on the high street, and when those items are British, it makes them all the more special. The Logista premium board game comes into both those categories, and it's a wonderful family game for all those 'rainy Sunday afternoons'...

Quote "Logista is a family game for 2-8 players aged 8 years and above. Not only is Logista a game for entertainment, but also teaches Maths, Geography, Co-ordination, Money Skills and Business and Communication Skills. The basic idea of the game is to get from the destination you start from to the destination you are going to as quickly as possible. By taking the shortest route with the least possible penalties so that you become the richest player and the final winner of the game."
You can check out Logista at ToyToyjac HERE, or you can check out the official site HERE.

Mario makes it through Terminal 5 Heathrow!!!!!!

---STOP PRESS - Mario figures make it through terminal 5 Heathrow and have no complaints!!--- Yeah OK, we're joking, but they've arrived and some of them are already spoken for!!! Thinking about ordering some more (even though we've just received 150 figures - 3 complete sets have been ordered at the shop this week! and it's only Tuesday).... But we're also looking forward to the Mario 'DS' Gacha (see pic) - hopefully incoming in the next couple of weeks. We've had a busy few days, with work and funerals, and kids parties and orders..........
With respect to the funeral, the wonderful chap used to have a saying - "The World isn't your Oyster, the World is your Lobster", God Bless you Cecil, the world has lost a true, honest gentleman and a wonderful light.... and we, as countless others will miss you, and the warmth of your smile and sunshine....

Life smells like teen spirit...

Roller Coaster week for us.... from shoplifters making us question our 'offline' retail future, to having one of the best overall weeks we have had sales wise, and to meeting some exceptionally wonderful people & receiving some great feedback..... Life is a strange beast, and shows many faces, but we're believers.......

We have some great items coming over the next month or so, we're planning on getting some Halo Clix sets and figures, Mario Stylus / Screen Cleaner Gachas, Tech Deck Skateparks, Transformers pocket model TCG, and so much more.... Our re-supply of 5" Mario figures are currently on their journey through Heathrow (should be with us this week!)......

We do appreciate all your support, it means so much so to us, it makes the hours we put in seem insignificant, the negatives seem irrelevant, so thank you....... Oh and before we go, we are changing our 'member draw' for July, usually only open for UK members, next month (July) we will be doing a special member draw for our international customers, and we are planning to do them every few months for our friends overseas.

Nothing is lost in translation....

It's wonderful, amazing, touching, and it makes it all worthwhile........ When a group of kids come into our little shop and gawp in disbelief, saying 'wow......', we try and stock as many items you don't necessarily find on the high street as we can (spending a lot of time trying to source cool items), and the 'mainstream items' we do stock we try to undercut the chains as best we can. But it's really special when we get visitors from East Asia in the shop, they giggle and smile, and say our shop reminds them of home :)............ An English chap said the same thing the other week, he loved to go to Japan, and said Tokyo was full of little shops like ours, 'little treasure troves of delight' - :).............. Maybe toys are the missing link, maybe they provide a relief from the seemingly endless 'bad news' and 'daily treadmill' , whatever your age you can find comfort in the child within yourself. Nearly half of all Uglydolls sold are for people in the 20 -30+ age group, we guess sometimes toys are wasted on kids, we guess sometimes even though we live in different cultures and in different times (Crazy Bones started life 1,000's of years ago!!) we're looking to reclaim the child in ourselves, and we're looking to give our children some special memories to cling onto through their journey.........

Mario is missing..

Mario supplies are all but gone, over 200 figures sold in the last couple of months, we've just put another order in (hopefully the suppliers will be able to meet it), so Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad & Goomba should be fully stocked in around 2 weeks time when they step off the plane from the Big N's home country :).....
Marvel Heroes Crazy Bones should be hitting the shelves next week, if they don't get delayed that is! We're also getting some new Yu-Gi-Oh cards, not new in that they've just come out, new for us, so hopefully 'Tactical Evolution' & 'Power of the Duelist' boosters will be joining the ranks as well as more supplies of 'Cyberdark Impact' & 'Phantom Darkness' which are running very thin on the shelves...
It's feeling pretty cold here on the East Coast to say it's well into June!! Watching the miserable holiday makers and day trippers aimlessly wandering around the town centre is not a pleasant sight... Still there's always tomorrow, and the Sun's always just around the corner (somewhere)!!...

Go, Going, Gone..It's Crazy!!

GoGo's Crazy Bones, you've gotta love them, well i guess you don't but you would be seemingly pretty unique if you weren't caught up in the latest 'Playground madness' to hit the UK.

Fresh in today we've got a few of the new versions, in 'Sport', 'Mutant', and 'Things' guises, there are 4 Crazy Bones in each of these packs, with stickers and a game card, they retail at £1.49 per pack (as opposed to the 'original' 3 figure boosters at 99p). Notwithstanding this, fingers crossed next week we'll have hold of some of the 'Marvel Heroes' Crazy Bones, with supposedly special games to play with these mini super figures.
Looking into the old crystal ball, it seems there is plenty of other cool goodies to tempt you in the coming months, we're especially looking forward to 'Mario DS pen & Screen Cleaner' Gachas, and the new Pokemon TCG expansion - 'Legends Awakened', we still can't quite believe how popular Pokemon still is, but then the big N seems to have the Midas touch with everything...

Who are you?...Who, Who....

Dr Who Rollers.... 99p a packet, 2 rollers per packet, 60 different rollers to collect.

Quote - "There are a number of action packed ROLLERS games to play and each packet is printed with game instructions on the reverse side. Young creative minds will undoubtedly create many of their own ROLLERS games to play. ROLLERS is a new and unique collectible game concept. It is aimed at boys and girls aged from 5-14. It is highly collectible and great fun to play. It is sure to be a big hit in the playground." Enough said, hopefully we'll have some around the 12th / 13th June.....

May the Force be with You..

Some uber cool items have hit the shelves today, 'Hannah Montana' & 'High School Musical' Magic 8 Balls, Destination Animation board games (The people behind this were famously passed up on 'Dragons Den' only to go on and have a Number 1 Smash Hit with their first board game 'Destination London'), and a selection of Star Wars PocketModel TCG boosters and sets. It may have been around a while, but this game is super cool (and great fun!), with Star Wars having a fan base spanning 30+ years, Pocketmodel trading cards a la Star Wars is going to blow your socks off if you haven't seen it before.
Coming soon (fingers crossed), items include the new generation 'GoGo's Crazy Bones' in Sport / Mutant / Things Guises!!! The original release has sold amazingly, we're also hoping to get hold of some more Sticker Albums too!!! And some of the new Dr Who Rollers (these are made by the same people behind the Crazy Bones)......... Feel the Force :)............
